The area around the monastery ruins is one of the oldest populated areas in Boitzenburg. The former mill is now a museum, historical objects and equipment are stored in the neighbouring barn, and the former stable was used in the past as the \u2018Wirtshaus zur Klosterm\u00fchle\u2019. Each building has its own history. We are convinced that together they have a great future.<\/p>\n

The UMBRUCH Gruppe has acquired this unique ensemble in order to awaken it from its slumber. Together with the municipality, partners and authorities, the buildings are being renovated to preserve their substance. And finally reopened as KLOSTERPARK Boitzenburg.<\/p>\n

It all begins with the new KLOSTERSCH\u00c4NKE <\/strong>(monastery tavern), a meeting place for all residents and visitors of Boitzenburg. Featuring ten guest rooms in the newly developed attic. Offering restaurant and caf\u00e9 service, as well as a beer garden. With a spacious, cozy dining area and an event room for birthdays, seminars, or community meetings..<\/p>\n

The new KLOSTERSCHEUNE<\/strong> (monastery barn) is being developed as the perfect complement to the offerings of the KLOSTERSCH\u00c4NKE. A spacious and barrier-free suite will serve as an additional accommodation option. The heated event hall, complete with a stage for music and theater, will provide ample space for concerts, weddings, seminars, or dance evenings. In addition, we are integrating a music production studio into a smaller room on the upper floor of the barn, aiming to inspire musicians as well as children and young people.<\/p>\n

The KLOSTERM\u00dcHLE<\/strong> (monastery mill) is already one of the most important witnesses to Boitzenburg\u2019s history. That\u2019s why the UMBRUCH Group will carefully restore it with a focus on preserving its substance and further develop it into a place of remembrance for all of Boitzenburg. Together with renowned museum expert and curator Dr. Kurt Winkler, we will expand the offerings of the Technical Museum and also tell the story of Boitzenburg within the mill. All with the goal of inspiring even more visitors to discover and appreciate this unique place.<\/p>\n

We can hardly wait to make KLOSTERPARK Boitzenburg<\/strong> a new place of longing far beyond the region. And to set an example of what is possible when the population, politicians and entrepreneurs work together.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n

They will also be jointly operated and marketed by KLOSTERPARK Boitzenburg GmbH in order to realise their full potential.
