We support this project because our democracy is at home in the city and in the countryside.

The Zukunft Berlin Foundation focuses its efforts on three areas: Berlin, Berlin-Brandenburg, and Europe. The UMBRUCH Gruppe supports the foundation’s work, particularly in areas related to the integration of urban and rural regions, as well as mutual understanding and cross-fertilization.

Together, we want to improve the good neighborly relationship between Berlin and Brandenburg and establish forms of cooperation that develop the potential of both states for the common benefit of the entire region. The focus is not on day-to-day politics, but on the joint development of strategies for the future.

Specifically, forums, readings and dialogue opportunities between civil society and politics are organized, for example.
