Health Fair in the Boitzenburger Land.

At the first health fair in the Boitzenburger Land, numerous initiatives, counseling centers, and organizations presented their services related to health, care, and everyday support. The “Pflege vor Ort” which the UMBRUCH Gruppe has supported for many years, was also represented.

The Marstall in Boitzenburg hosted its first-ever health fair, which highlighted the wide range of regional assistance and support services available. Local initiatives, counseling centers, care providers, and social service organizations presented their work and engaged with visitors.

The event provided an important platform for exchange and networking. Interested individuals could learn about prevention programs, care counseling, support for daily living, and other social services, and make direct contact with the participating organizations.

“Pflege vor Ort”, an initiative by Elli Horn and the municipality of Boitzenburger Land, was also represented at the fair. The program strengthens local care and support structures in daily life and promotes the development of regional networks. The goal is to enable older adults to live as independently as possible in their familiar surroundings for as long as possible and to better support family caregivers.

The UMBRUCH Gruppe has supported “Pflege vor Ort” in the Boitzenburger Land region for many years as part of its commitment to public welfare projects. Initiatives such as the health fair demonstrate how important local cooperation and strong networks are for the social infrastructure in rural areas.

The Nordkurier also reported on the event.
