The local care program is at the heart of the Brandenburg state government’s “Pact for Care”. The core objective is to support people in need of care and their relatives locally. For example, by providing better advice and sufficient specialist staff.

The design of age- and care-friendly social spaces is intended to prevent or delay the need for care and promote care in one’s own home.

Alongside the state government, the UMBRUCH Gruppe is the largest financial supporter of the program. Because we believe that both are important for the future of our Uckermark region and should never be played off against each other: opportunities for young people and respect for older people.
